The manour house was built in the 18th century and was recently restored in order to adapt it to the highest modern demands for comfort, including a very efficient heating system. The house has 3 floors. On the ground floor us a very spacious living-dining room with a fireplace and direct access to the lovely garden, a fully equiped kitchen, a double bedroom next to the living room, and a full bathroom with a shower. On the first floor is an enormous master bedroom with a sitting area, a wood stove, a balcony with beautiful views, and a bathroom with tub; a sitting room with access to the other 2 double bedrooms on this floor; and another full bathroom with a tub. On the second floor, the use of which is optional, this large holiday villa near Santander has another sitting room, a bedroom with a 140cm double bed and a small bathroom with shower, another two double bedrooms, and a full bathroom with a shower.

The manor house is on a private property of 3.000m2, with a lovely garden with a lawn, fruit trees and mountain views, and with an outdoor dining table. There are 2 electric grills for cooking outdoors.

The manor house stands on the edge of a small rural hamlet with some other manor houses and farms, and surrounded by fields with cattle. At 1,5 km. is the village of Rubayo, that has several restaurants, while the closest shops are at around 5 km. in Pedreña, and at 6 km. in Solares. The elegant coastal town of Somo, with its endless, white sandy beach with a surfing school and its yacht harbour, is at 8 km. from the house.

The area has many country roads and paths for lovely walks and bike rides. There is a bike rental in the area that delivers to the house.

There are 2 excelent golf courts near the house: Ramón Soto at only 2 km., and the highly renowned Real Club de Golf of Pedreña at 5 km. There is also a horse stable nearby.

This large holiday villa near Santander is at only 7km from the stunning Cabarceno Natural Park, a great place for long walks.

The center of Santander, with a great cultural and culinary offer, is at a 20 minutes drive from the manor house.

At 3 km. from the house are the train stations of Agüera and Orejo, with regular trains into Santander.
